Job Description

Duration: 6 months contract

Schedule: 9:00-6:00PM with an hour lunch

Summary:

Responsible for operating data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.

• Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.

• Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.

• Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.

• Maintain logs of activities and completed work.

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

• Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Top Must-Have Skills / Candidate Requirements:

· Expertise in keying alphanumeric in a deadline driven environment

· Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions

· Familiarity with computers, toggling between screens and typing with accuracy - timeliness

Degrees/Certifications/Years of Overall Experience Required:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Entry level to 2 years related experience required

Day to Day Responsibilities:

· Approve Virtual Tickets for internal transfers between deposit accounts

· Will be trained on specific keyboard functionality needed for system

· Role is heads down, consistently working at the computer
